How Can severe Itchiness In The Ear Be Treated?

My ears are very itchy and this has persisted for over a year now. I have been to the doctors with no luck - they ve recommended ear drops that haven t helped. I know it isn t advised, but very occasionally I use a cotton bud dunked in cold water to soothe the itching. Whenever I do this, I suddenly feel very dizzy.

the doctor need to see ear deeply.

ear is not only for hearing also controls balance of body,
cold water you used which irritates ear leads to imbalance ie dizzyness.
